Gucci Mane is not a rapper-turned-executive, but rather an executive-turned-rapper. Along with fellow Atlanta-based rappers T.I. and Young Jeezy, he helped pioneer the hip-hop subgenre of trap music. Future Gucci Mane appears to believe that he can beat JAY-Z in Verzuz combat.

Gucci Mane appeared to believe that he can beat Jay-Z in versus. The Atlanta hip-hop superstars started off Season 2 of Verzuz with a hits-packed battle that lived up to the sky-high hype on Thursday night.

Future, Lil Wayne, and Drake have all been mentioned as possible opponents by younger fans. Others have gone as far as to suggest that YoungBoy Never Broke Again would be a good contender for Jay.

As the conversations over JAY-Z inevitable Verzuz duel continue on social media, one of the artists mentioned in those discussions, Future, appears to concur that he could beat the renowned rapper in a hit-for-hit challenge. He was very confident in this as he posted the Instagram story below.
