Martin King Arthur, better known as Kofi Kinaata, the Ghanaian highlife singer and rapper, has written some words of encouragement for students who reportedly failed the recently concluded West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), saying they only failed an exam and not life.
It was previously claimed that around half of the pupils who took the WASSCE failed the two core courses necessary for university entry, Mathematics, and English.
According to other data, just 54.11 percent of the 446,352 candidates passed mathematics (A1 to C6) and 54.08 percent passed English. Furthermore, the educational organization’s data reveals that applicants in grades A1 to C6 in Integrated Science and Social Studies performed better this year than in 2021.
In response, Kofi Kinaata consoled pupils who had failed some of their examination papers, stressing that they had merely failed an examination and not failed in life.
Taking to the microblogging platform, Twitter, Kinaata wrote; To all those who failed in WASSCE, bear in mind that, you just failed in an exam, you didn’t fail in life. Just know.
